Mixed Media Cards + Tutorial by Dutt Preety

Hi friends! Hope you are having a great day :)
For today's post, I've created a Pair of Mixed Media Cards.
I've used some gorgeous Fantasy Dies on my project.
The process is very simple and you don't need too many supplies.
You can use whatever alternatives you have in your own craft stash.
I have used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color the background.
And used Lindy's Gang Embossing Powders to emboss the die cuts.
I have used stamps & a stencil by 13 arts here.
There is a Step-by-Step Pictorial of the process :)

Step-by-Step Pictorial:
1. Colour panels of white cardstock by blending distress inks onto the backgrounds. I've tried to create a slight ombre or colour gradient look.
(It is easier to blend the inks using blending brushes)

2. To create the background, stamp the panels with black ink using your favourite stamps.

3. To add more interest to the background, apply heavy white gesso through a stencil onto the panels. (You can use modelling paste or any other white texture paste too).

4. Die cut cardstock using some gorgeous Fantasy Knives and then heat emboss the die cuts using embossing powders by Lindy's Gang.

5. Cut up black mats for the card panels. Use Tim Holtz stickers for the sentiments. Then layer and adhere all the elements using a strong glue to the A2 sized (4.25 inches by 5.5 inches) white card bases.

Thanks a lot for your precious time :)
Stay Blessed!
